The Essex Endurance Championship is a competitive karting championship for keen karters aged 14 years + and is held once every 2 months (plenty of time to recover and practice!!!)
This Championship is a series of six rounds of "2 Hour Team Endurance Races" held alternately between Essex's only outdoor karting venues - Brentwood & Lakeside Karting.
See calendar below for the next available dates.
Each Championship consists of 6 rounds with 5 counting towards the Championship table.
This allows drivers to miss a race or have a poor score which doesn't affect their Championship positioning. There are 2 classes, Standard and Heavyweight.
The Essex Endurance Championship will test your team's stamina and race tactics.
All racing takes place on our class leading Sodi Race Karts.
All Essex Endurance Championship races count towards the Sodi World Finals points.
The Essex Endurance Championship will will hold two different championship categories:
Heavyweight Teams (Average weight of 85KG per driver / per team)
Lightweight Teams (Average weight of less than 85KG per driver / team)
The championship will be available to view online and discounted practice sessions are available for all participants.
